Diese mehr oder wenige bequeme Liege im Kroko-Stil bindet denjenigen an sich, der sich auf ihr entspannen will und schleppt ihn querfeldein über Stock und Stein zum Vulkan des Grauens, um den Armseligen zu opfern. Die Hexe Gundel Gaukeley bringt den Höllenstuhl in ihren Besitz, muss aber als Gegenleistung auf ihre magischen Fähigkeiten verzichten, bis der Gumburumbu seine Aufgabe erfüllt hat. Sie plant, den armen Dagobert mithilfe des Gumburumbu gefangen zu nehmen und zu erpressen. Freundlicherweise will Gundel ihren Erzfeind tatsächlich ohne Zauberei retten, damit dieser nicht im Vulkan des Grauens ein unfreiwilliges Bad nimmt. Also wird der Gumburumbu nach Entenhausen verfrachtet, genauer gesagt in den Duck′schen Geldspeicher. Blöd nur, dass ausgerechnet an diesem Tag Donald die Rolle seines reichen Erbonkels übernommen hat, da dieser auf geheimer Geschäftsreise verweilt. Der Gumburumbu schnappt sich den ahnungslosen Donald und marschiert mit ihm gen Lateinamerika.
